Unlock the next phase of onchain access with Managerial access using pod-like permissions.
Managers can be both Externally Owned Accounts (EOAs) and Smart Contracts.
In Badger, there are two different types of Managers:
- 1.Organization Managers
- 2.Badge Managers
Operating with a different set of permissions, the multi-pronged system enables a plug-and-play system to power the future of your Organization by enabling the use of your network.
An Organization Manager can:
The functionality to update Organization Managers has not yet been enabled in the publicly launched web application but will be released for all shortly due to demand! 👀 If you would like early access, reach out on Twitter.
Traditional Organizations have been monolithic for centuries operating with a strict hierarchy of access and permission. Digital Organizations are different in that they often operate with permissions designated to pods, a group of individuals collected together for a specific purpose.
A Badge Manager can:
As a multi-pronged Organization, it is important to have the ability to manage other Managers with ease. Badger makes it simple to add, remove, and adjust permissions for Managers within your Organization or Badge.
With Badger's intuitive Manager management system, you can easily ensure that your Organization or Badge is in good hands.
Adding new Managers can be helpful in situations where you need to delegate certain tasks or responsibilities to specific individuals within your organization.
To add a Manager:
There may come a time when you need to remove a Manager's access to your organization or badge. Perhaps they've completed their task or are no longer part of your team.
Whatever the reason, removing Manager's access is a straightforward process.
To remove a Manager:
- Scroll to the Managers section and click the "Trash Can" icon next to any Manager you want to remove.
- Click "Save Changes" to apply your changes and run the confirmation transaction.
It's important to note that removing a Manager does not revoke the badges issued by or to that Manager. You'll need to take separate steps to revoke any badges you do not want in circulation.
